The Holiday Season has Arrived! Check out the new items

November 1st brings cozy nights in, festive music, and sweet anticipation of the upcoming holidays. I absolutely love this time of year!

 

I’ve prepared some new products for this holiday season that will hopefully add beauty and cheer to your home. Here’s what’s new:

Blankets will only be available for the month of November, or until I reach my max order threshold. Please order as early as you can if you’d like to get by Christmas! The blankets are made-to-order, and will take 3-4 weeks to make and ship. So please plan accordingly if you are planning on gifting one. These blankets are always best sellers for the gifting season, and that’s probably because a huge, cuddly, bookish blanket makes for the perfect gift.

 

My blankets are made with custom printed minky fabric featuring my paintings on the front and luscious minky fur on the back. They are sewn by me in my home studio.

My Christmas ornaments are handmade from start to finish, and give an heirloom touch to your holiday season.

 

These wood plaque ornaments feature gold edges, a velvet ribbon for hanging, and a decoupaged print that has been sealed for longevity. These ornaments are non-breakable (they’re made of wood) and very sturdy, making for a long-lasting Christmas heirloom for years to come.

I’ve created special edition copies of three delightful novels that are now available in the shop:

 

The first book is The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Frank Baum, an enchanting Christmas fantasy about Claus, human child adopted by a wood nymph in the magical Forest of Burzee. The story follows Claus from his childhood through adulthood, as he realizes that his primary mission in life is to bring joy to children everywhere. The perfect book to read as a family this Christmas!

 

Next is The Enchanted Castle by E. Nesbit, a delightful story about three children who find themselves entangled in a series of magical adventures while on holiday. Siblings Jerry, Jimmy, and Kathy stumble upon a beautiful castle on their romp through the woods. In the garden of the castle, they awaken a “princess” who tells them that the castle is full of magic, including a magic ring…But when the ring actually makes her invisible, she panics! The ensuing series of events is hilarious. This story is perfect for fans of Narnia and Lord of the Rings, especially the younger fans! A wonderful book for a read aloud.

 

And lastly, The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy. Set against the backdrop of the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution, The Scarlet Pimpernel (1905) is a breathtaking story about the elusive Englishman known as the Scarlet Pimpernel, who dons elaborate disguises in order to rescue aristocrats from the guillotine. His identity is a mystery to everyone…including his wife Marguerite…This story is perfect for anyone who loves classic adventure stories!
