NEW: 3 Notebooks for Kids
Focused Journals for Kids
Three new journals are coming to the shop, and they are for our kids!
Introducing:
– Reading Log for Kids
– Sketchbook for Kids
– Outdoor Observation Journal for Kids
As a homeschooling mama, I’m always looking for ways to encourage and facilitate my kids’ learning. What better way than to provide them with beautiful, exciting journals of their own?
The Reading Log for Kids is a place for your children to track all of the books they finish. When I was a kid, I would have loved something like this. I read voraciously, sometimes several books a week, many that I absolutely adored – and now I can’t remember the majority of them. With this reading log, no books will be forgotten as your child grows and it will be such a sweet thing to look back on. Not to mention a testament to their growth and improvement. The best thing about these reading logs are the coloring pages though 🙂 I’ve included bookish coloring pages as well as book review pages to get your child’s creative juices flowing.
“To introduce children to literature is to install them in a very rich and glorious kingdom, to bring a continual holiday to their doors, to lay before them a feast exquisitely served.” (Charlotte Mason)
The Sketchbook for Kids is a place for your child to take notes during Art History class or, of course, doodle, sketch, and create masterpieces of their own! Most of the pages are blank, but I’ve sprinkled some portraits of the great masters of art with encouraging quotes throughout the book.
“Every child should leave school with at least a couple of hundred pictures by great masters hanging permanently in the halls of his imagination.” (Charlotte Mason)
The Outdoor Observation Journal for Kids is a place for your child to record their observations in nature and grow a true appreciation for the care that our Creator took in creating this beautiful world. One side is a blank page for drawing out their observations, and the other side is lined paper for describing what they observe. This journal is perfect for homeschool nature studies.
“Never be within doors when you can rightly be without.” (Charlotte Mason)
All three of these new journals are 100 pages. They are paperback with beautiful cover art, paintings inspired by Charlotte Mason. These journals can be purchased separately or as a bundle.
