welcome to my shop!
I’m Haleigh DeRocher, owner and creator of Sweet Sequels. I have loved reading for as long as I can remember, and the words I read deeply inspire and inform my art.
Edith Wharton said, “When there are books enough, it is best to use them as part of the decorative treatment of the walls.” I feel this sentiment deeply. My home is filled to the brim with books. Stories hold a dear place in my heart, and they are the primary inspiration for my art. After all, “[life] is a story,” as Sara Crewe so wisely muses in A Little Princess. “Everything is a story! You are a story – I am a story.”
My mission is to bring the best stories – the Good, True, and Beautiful stories – back into a position of prominence in our daily lives. To make Art that will complement the tomes on your shelves.
In addition to being an artist and business owner, I am also a homeschooling mom of four. We live in East Texas.
