The holiday season is always busy around here. I love the bustle and anticipation of this time of year. On Tuesday, October 15th I will be releasing my holiday season product launch, which will include:

There are 12 blanket designs available, including some new ones and some old favorites. The blankets will be made-to-order, and will take around 4-6 weeks to make and ship. So please plan accordingly if you are planning on gifting one! These blankets are always best sellers for the gifting season, and that’s probably because a huge, cuddly, bookish blanket makes for the perfect gift.

My blankets are made with custom printed fabric featuring my paintings on the front and luscious minky fur on the back. They are sewn by me in my home studio.

Blankets will only be available for the remainder of October and November, or until I reach my max order threshold. Please order as early as you can if you’d like to get by Christmas!

My Christmas ornaments this year look a little different than in years past, but they are equally wonderful!

.

I have several designs available, and will be adding more as the season progresses.

These wood plaque ornaments are handmade from start to finish. They feature gold edges, a velvet ribbon for hanging, and a decoupaged print that has been sealed for longevity. These ornaments are blessedly non-breakable (they’re made of wood) and very sturdy, making for a long-lasting Christmas heirloom for years to come.

My newest coloring book is finally ready! The Road Goes On Coloring Book is a Lord of the Rings themed coloring book featuring 25 hand-drawn illustrations. It will make for a wonderful gift this holiday season!

This coloring book will be available for pre-order at this time. I will also have digital downloads of the coloring pages available on etsy.

I have two new books coming out that I am very excited about!

.

The first book is The Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc by Mark Twain, a fantastic novelization of the saint’s life. This book, though heavily researched and true to life, reads like a fascinating fairy tale or myth. Mark Twain beautifully captures Joan’s spirit, and you can’t get to the end of this book without loving her. I highly recommend to everyone!

The second book is Stories from the Faerie Queen by Jeanie Lang, a collection of adapted stories from Edmund Spenser’s poem Faerie Queene. The stories are suitable for children, but are also a great introduction to the classic work of fantasy for anyone wishing to dip their toes in. My favorite story in the collection is “Saint George and the Dragon”, which is why I chose this particular cover art.

Both of these books will be available for pre-order on Tuesday, and will then be stocked in my shop.

The wooden plaques are made by hand by me. The images are printed and sealed onto stained wood, with decorative metal adornments. They each have hanging hardware already installed, so are ready to be hung on your wall as soon as you get them. I have several designs available, as well as a custom option if the art you’d like isn’t already available.

These plaques are made-to-order, and usually take 2-3 weeks to ship out.
