Autumn: Poems and Paintings
AUTUMN: Poems and Paintings
Coming to the shop on Saturday, September 24th at 10am cst
It’s finally time! The fourth and final volume of my Seasons Poetry Collection is ready.
When a new season arrives, I love reading poems that draw out the beauty in the changing landscape. Autumn is a mesmerizing time; a new beginning and yet a beautiful ending. The changing colors, the falling leaves, the cooler temperatures, the promise of holiday magic – I can’t imagine a more exciting time.
I found so many classic poems that capture the essence of Autumn in all its glory, and I hope you’ll enjoy every one. In addition to over 50 classic poems, the book features my original autumn inspired artwork. It’s a pocket-size hardcover book, in full color. And if you’re wondering – yes, all four volumes can be purchased as a bundle 🙂
These will be available for pre-order in the shop on Saturday, September 24th at 10am CST. I have pre-ordered a batch that will be ready to ship in about two weeks.

Here is one of my favorite poems from Autumn: Poems and Paintings

Fall, Leaves, Fall
by Emily Bronte
.
Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.
