April Exclusive Tees and Bundles

APRIL EXCLUSIVE: Better Things Ahead

“There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.” – CS Lewis

The exclusive design for April is my original painting “Better Things Ahead“, inspired by the great theologian and Christian apologist, CS Lewis.

We could all use a little CS Lewis wisdom and encouragement right now, amidst the uncertainty and fear regarding current events. I’ve chosen this particular design and bundle because CS Lewis has personally provided me a lot of comfort in times of inner unrest.

The Exclusive Bundles this month will come in two sizes: the Basic and the Book Lover’s.

Included in the Basic Bundle: Better Things Ahead shirt in your chosen size, an 8.5×11 print of my CS Lewis Bookstack art, and my new CS Lewis sticker set containing 8 unique stickers.

Included in the Book Lover’s Bundle: All of the above, PLUS a surprise, thrifted edition of a book by CS Lewis (Narnia will not be included in any of the packages). The title will be a surprise, and will be something different for everyone. Some possibilitis for the book are: Mere Christianity, Surprised by Joy, Out of the Silent Planet, The Joyful Christian, The Great Divorce, Screwtape Letters, etc. If you do have a preference or specification as to which book you receive please feel free to email me at hello@sweetsequels.com after you place your order!

The exclusive tees and bundles will be available on April 1st at 12pm cst, and will only be in the shop for the month of April.

**The quote “There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind” is actually a misquoted version of Lewis’ actual quote, which was “There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.” He wrote this in a letter to a friend of his who was thought to be dying of cancer. The “things ahead” he refers to is life in Heaven. When I originally painted this piece, I did not realize that this was a misquoted quote! It is one that is popular online so I assumed it was correct. Oops! Maybe it somehow got morphed with Dickens quote from A Tale of Two Cities: “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to, than I have ever known.”
Regardless, it is a beautiful and uplifting sentiment either way.
